Revolutionizing Patient Monitoring In HealthcareWith IoTUsing WSN And Li-Fi Technology
摘要
The Internet of Things (IoT) leverages wireless networks to deploy numerous sensors for monitoring various system, physical and environmental parameters without the need for extensive infrastructure. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) finds diverse applications, including monitoring and routing efficiency. And also equipped with detection, processing and communication capabilities. This paper proposes an intelligent healthcare system utilizing various sensors to gather real-time health data and transmit it to a central server for analysis by medical professionals. Given the escalating demand for energy due to technological advancements and changing lifestyles, responsible energy usage is becoming increasingly critical. The choice of lighting sources and their alignment with environmental considerations play a vital role. The research delves into the application of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) in indoor lighting, while also examining their potential for integrating Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) technology to facilitate data transmission via wireless sensor nodes. A detailed comparison of Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) LED adaptive technology with MIMO Radio Frequency (RF) technologies is conducted, assessing parameters such as bit rate, latency and Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) while transmitting the medical information. Moreover, the paper emphasizes the necessity of creating hazard-free environments in the near future, in addition to focusing on energy efficiency through the usage of LEDs.
