Impact of organic compound-based stimulated Raman scattering in large mode area photonic crystal fiber

This study is based on the fact that an organic substance like olive oil may act as a photonic liquid crystal. Because of its outstanding nonlinear optical characteristics, it is a well-accepted way for improving system quality when utilized as an optical amplifier based on stimulated Raman scattering gain. Large mode area photonic crystal fiber was employed to increase optical amplification of light. Olive oil is employed as the Raman active medium in two circumstances in this work. A pump ON/OFF optical gain method with an experimental setup was created to evaluate this technology, and a 405 nm pump laser was used with two signal lasers of 650 nm and 808 nm. Raman gain was determined and the best fiber length has been established to produce a highest gain and maximum signal power of 650 nm for photonic liquid fibers with large mode areas.
