Achieve the acceptable parameters for super dense optical communication system using HOAs

This paper has shown the design and analysis the performance of 240 × 12 Gbps super dense wavelength division multiplexing optical communication (SD-OWDM) system to enhance the transmission strength for the betterment of future super dense optical communication. Further, analysis has recorded in terms of received acceptable output power (38.22 dB), quality power (Q-factor) (38 dB), and eye closure (0.2 dB) for the transmission distance of 300 km with the power amplification of proposed RAMAN-EDFA-RAMAN hybrid optical amplifier. Furthermore, analysis has also extended to achieve the acceptable power amplification from RAMAN-EDFA-RAMAN hybrid optical amplifier (HOA), RAMAN-EDFA-SOA hybrid optical amplifier (HOA), EDFA-SOA-SOA hybrid optical amplifier (HOA), and RAMAN-SOA-SOA hybrid optical amplifier (HOA) respectively. Final conclusion is recommended that the performance of RAMAN-EDFA-RAMAN hybrid optical amplifier (HOA) is most suitable for the proposed super dense future optical communication system to mitigate the effect of fiber nonlinearity and dispersion to upgrade the super dense optical communication.
