摘要

The paper proposes an adaptive radio-over-fiber (RoF) network architecture for modern generation communication incorporating our designed Modified Walsh code (MWC). The proposed system represents an advancement of an Optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) to provide a better-Quality factor and Bit error rate (BER). A short illustration of RoF technology utilized in different modulation processes is revealed in this work. An RoF link for a two-channel structure is also initiated availing the Mach–Zehnder Modulator (MZM). The proposed link is assessed for various transmission distances of 10, 20, 30, and 40 km without using amplifier and up to 130 km after using an Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier. The execution of the designed system is compared with Quality-factor of 10 and BER of 10–25 with other existing optical code division multiple access codes. We explored the performance of the proposed system using the Opti System ver.18 simulator tool.
