摘要

Optical modulators process high-switch electrical signals to transform the work environment into interconnected photonic systems. Due to the rapid growth in data volume in the contemporary era, there has been a substantial increase in data rates for interconnections. The interconnected electro-optical modulator has become a key focus for many researchers in the current era. The electroabsorption modulator is a fundamental element in this paper because of its extensive bandwidth capabilities. The proposed electroabsorption modulation with a minimal footprint of 30 × 6 μm 2 is perfectly aligned with a 1.55 μm wavelength. It operates within the CMOS interconnected devices at reverse voltage bias. Capable of efficiently transmitting data over extended distances, owing to its superior performance within the C-band spectrum. It has a high bandwidth up to 58 GHz with a clear and open eye diagram due to small resistance and capacitance in addition to low power consumption.
