<p>This article provides an overview of selected trends and current key topics in poverty research and poverty reporting in Germany. Based on the Federal Government’s poverty and wealth reports and the accompanying scientific research, it highlights points of contact for qualitative, subject-oriented approaches and research from the fields of social work and social pedagogy. To this end, several research lines and key topics are outlined. The aim is to identify pathways for closing existing gaps between quantitative, policy-oriented poverty research and poverty reporting and qualitative, subject-centered research, thus, developing a&#xa0;deeper understanding of poverty and social exclusion.</p>

摘要

This article provides an overview of selected trends and current key topics in poverty research and poverty reporting in Germany.
