摘要

Childhood and generation(s) as a pair of terms implies a variety of different concepts from childhood research: generationing, relational agency, generation and the connection to the constitutive ideology of inequality: adultism. On the one hand, this article traces these theoretically, and on the other hand, this article aims to challenge the gaps in these conceptualizations through empirical material in which children, as actors of different generational relationships, (re)produce them. Ideas of temporality and development become visible, highlighting how authoritatively generation is interwoven into early daycare institutions.
