Doing Family in der späten Moderne: ein zeitdiagnostisch zugespitztes Update praxeologischer Familienforschung
摘要
After a practical theoretically informed family science has now been followed for 10 years in Germany and following research on Doing Family, it seems to be time to screen the field and to develop new impulses. For this purpose, an overview is given on some important late modernity areas of societal tension because the intricate and disorder susceptible construction processes of families are enacted within these societal ambivalences. Secondly, the basic key constructs of the theoretical approach are accentuated before selected fields of Doing Family are scrutinized: work, education and health. Special emphasis is placed on processes of digitalization and mediatization, because they permeate all the fields in their relations to the family. Finally, the effects of Doing Family in areas of tension are shown. They range from individual familial exhaustion, especially in the case of mothers, to the societal level of a care crisis.
