Mehrfachbenachteiligungen in den Studiengängen des Sozialwesens
摘要
Utilizing data from the German social survey of the summer term 2016, this study delves into the prevalence and clustering of multiple disadvantages among social work students. These disadvantages span cumulative economic, social, and emancipatory social inequalities. Employing a stepwise regression model, the results reveal a higher frequency of multiple disadvantages among students with health limitations; however, this trend extends to older students, those from low-income backgrounds and female students. Interestingly, having a migration background does not serve as a predictor of disadvantage. The analyses underline the relevance of intersectional structural categories, while also noting that certain differentiating factors do not inherently result in disadvantages per se.
