摘要

Racism as a relationship of power and domination permeates all levels of coexistence. Accordingly, educational institutions such as a university of social work also contribute to the actualization of racism. Even more than social work in general, the university is a white space, at least on the teaching side; however, there is now movement in many areas: There is a growing will and knowledge to promote antiracist thinking and self-reflection. This article explores these movements, including an in-depth discussion about a completed project on empowerment and unlearning racism at Bern University of Applied Sciences. It provides surprising insights into the areas of tension and findings of antiracist work in higher education and in the context of social work.
