Zum Beitrag der kritischen Bildungstheorie Peter Eulers im Anthropozän
摘要
The year 1999 marks the beginning of a new phase in the development and use of technology by mankind. That was the year that the first personal digital assistant with a built-in mobile phone modem was launched. This heralded the age of mobile devices (in particular tablet computers and smartphones). The same year saw the publication of Peter Euler’s habilitation thesis, which is the focus of this article in the “Rediscovered” section, and which is dedicated to the question of the relationship between technology and education. The technological developments of recent decades have raised questions about the relationship between human beings and technology in general, and what it means and should mean to be human in a technologised society in particular. If the development of theory in social work is to relate to the questions raised, then an examination of Euler’s critical theory of education is essential because of its theoretical complexity and depth of reflection. This article presents an overview of Euler’s theory of education and his responses to the questions raised, and discusses their relevance.
