Doing gender and sexuality while doing group

The DFG-funded project “Doing gender and sexuality while doing group. On the entanglement of collective and personal (self-)education in queer youth work” investigates how adolescents and young adults are educated and educate themselves in queer group work on lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter*, asexual/aromantic and queer adolescents (LGBT*IAQ). The ethnographic research project analyzes how these educational opportunities create a sociality in which young people (can) form and practice an identity. The interweaving of individual and collective educational processes is at the center of the research interest.
