Großschadensereignisse und Katastrophen
摘要
In case of major disasters and catastrophes, the responsibilities for civil protection, disaster relief and humanitarian aid are fairly clear. But what about different fields of education and social work? Do they play a role in the structure of the “security architecture” and the control logic of domestic and foreign policy? And if so, what expectations are placed upon them? The following provides insights into German and international research. Questions are raised about educational and social pedagogical discourses on disaster education, and finally about the susceptibility of psychosocial services to failure if put under extreme stress. The recent development of multiple crises from wars to socioecological threats forms the background. Finally, a sketch shows the spatial, temporal and social dimensions of the need for knowledge and skills.
