This article delves into current climate protest movements, examining the intersection of ecological concerns with political and pedagogical issues for climate protection and sustainable future development. We focus on the establishment of educational spaces by climate activist groups, such as organizing scientific lectures on climate change as part of their protest practices. Exploring the significance of movement-related educational programs through the lens of educational generational theories, we specifically investigate the motives and arguments behind climate protest movements, using the “Public Climate School” event series as an example. By analyzing digital-media promotional materials, we uncover how the examination of intergenerational relationships serves as a platform for the political subjectification of the protest actors.
