Global Stability of a Cholera Model with a Generalized Treatment Function
摘要
Cholera, a waterborne disease, emerged every year and caused millions of mortalities across the globe. The unavailability of clean drinking water and lack of sanitation are the major causes behind the emergence of cholera. Due to this, people in developing and underdeveloped countries are facing severe consequences of cholera outbreaks. The limited medical facilities in these countries make the scenario worse. In the current work, we perform a detailed stability analysis of a compartmental cholera model with a generalized treatment function. To capture the real scenario, we consider a saturated type treatment function. To obtain the conditions on global stability, we use the compound matrix technique. Further, we also address the bi-stability of the model.
