Distributed Event-triggered Nash Equilibrium Seeking Algorithm With Quantization Communication

This paper investigates the distributed Nash equilibrium (NE) seeking problem for a nonsmooth noncooperative game with constrained communications. At first, taken the limited communication resources into account, an event-triggered broadcasting scheme is designed in a distributed continuous-time NE seeking algorithm for each agent to reduce communication frequency. Then, uniform and logarithmic quantizers are respectively introduced in the designed event-triggered distributed NE seeking algorithm to further reduce the amount of transmission data. The asymptotic convergence to the NE with an adjustable error bound is obtained by the designed algorithm with the uniform quantizer. Moreover, for the designed algorithm with the logarithmic quantizer, the asymptotic convergence is guaranteed. Zeno behaviors are also excluded in the designed seeking algorithms. Finally, the obtained results are validated via a numerical simulation.
