摘要

This paper presents a novel axial–radial conical magnetic gear. Compared to conventional axial–radial magnetic gears, the new conical magnet structure facilitates a shorter magnetic flux path, higher efficiency, and easier assembly process. The torque behavior and efficiency were thoroughly examined via 3D finite element analysis (FEA) simulations. To address the manufacturing and rapid prototyping challenges associated with conventional non-linear shaped magnets, this study combined 3D magnetic metal printing technology. Subsequently, a prototype was fabricated, and experimental results were provided to validate the design characteristics and simulation outcomes.
