Research and Design of Injection Head Clamping Device
摘要
Coiled tubing technology has been widely used in global oil and gas exploration and development, with the injection head being the core component of coiled tubing equipment. However, the existing injection head equipment has problems such as insufficient capacity, large volume, and heavy weight. In response to the issues, three types of injection head clamping devices were designed, and after calculation and experimentation, the best performance clamping device was selected, which improved the adaptability and clamping performance of coiled tubing, achieved a significant improvement in the operational capacity of injection head, and ultimately completed the development of a lightweight injection head. In addition, a clamping performance testing device has been designed and developed, and a complete set of injection head clamping device clamping performance testing experimental platform has been constructed, which can meet the experimental needs of various clamping devices. Through theoretical calculation analysis, elastic clamping adaptability comparison experiments, and clamping performance comparison testing experiments. The results show that average equivalent friction coefficient of newly developed elastic micro deformation three claw bow clamping block in this study reaches 0.57, which is more than 39% higher than the conventional double claw clamping block (average equivalent friction coefficient is 0.41). After matching use, injection head can achieve a working capacity of over 680kN and achieve a lightweight rate of over 11.3% for the overall external dimensions of injection head. In addition, further research on clamping block of new materials will be an important direction to improve the clamping performance of injection heads.
