Effect of Annealing Twins on Corrosion Resistance of Corrax Stainless Steel Fabricated by Selective Laser Melting
摘要
In this paper, the corrax(CX) stainless steel formed by SLM(selective laser melting) is taken as the research object, then the formation of annealing twins and their influence on corrosion resistance are studied by means of EBSD(electron backscattered diffraction) technology. The results show that with the increase of cold rolling deformation, the volume fraction of high angle grain boundaries increases gradually, and the parallel lamellar type I twins gradually transform into lenticular type II twins. After 5% cold rolling followed by annealing treatment, the type I twin crystal has the largest proportion, and it is easier to form a grain boundary network structure with other special grain boundaries, thus effectively blocking the corrosion channel and showing the best comprehensive corrosion resistance. The intergranular corrosion depth is only 1.46 μm. Therefore, the low deformation + annealing treatment process is helpful to optimize and improve the corrosion resistance of SLM formed CX stainless steel. It provides a new perspective for future research on crystal structure and corrosion resistance.
