<p>Based on a&#xa0;broad exploration of the future, social, technological and organizational developments influencing population screening were analysed. Based on these developments, two scenarios (More-Less) were developed to explore future uncertainties and identify challenges for the future. Building on this, the RIVM and the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport developed the <i>Population Screening Development Agenda</i>, with three key ambitions: 1)&#xa0;greater health benefits through innovation and personalized screening, 2)&#xa0;promoting health equity, and 3)&#xa0;responsibly managing uncertainties. Evaluation, collaboration and flexibility remain essential for a&#xa0;future-proof screening program.</p>
