Inclusief onderzoek en burgerwetenschap: samenwerken voorbij de succesgarantie
摘要
The use of citizen science in health research has increased significantly in recent years. In the disability sector, citizen science—also referred to as ‘inclusive research’—has been practiced for decades, with people with intellectual disabilities working as equal partners. We explore what citizen science can learn from the field of inclusive research on the basis of two inclusive research projects. This article addresses the question of how we define success in research that focuses on inclusive collaboration, equity, experiential knowledge, and social relevance, beyond the boundaries of traditional outcome measures. Even if the predefined project goals or end products are not achieved, there are benefits at the personal, relational, process, and system levels.
