<p>In this contribution, tribute is paid to the life and work of political scientist Gottfried-Karl Kindermann, who would have celebrated his 100th&#xa0;birthday on April&#xa0;13, 2026. His neorealism of the Munich School is introduced and applied in condensed form to the current developments in the Ukraine war. This approach attempts to overcome ideological bridges by taking into account the perspectives of all relevant actors involved in the conflict.</p>
