摘要
Russia’s attack on Ukraine has established Poland as a key “frontline state” within NATO. With unprecedented investment and ambitious programmes, the country is modernising its armed forces. This article analyses these strategic realignments and highlights the historical developments since 1991, as well as the turning points in 2014 and 2022. It also discusses the challenges posed by time pressure, personnel shortages, and weaknesses in the defence industry.
