Against the backdrop of developments in the Middle East since 7 October 2023, this article redirects attention to the nuclear dimension of the Middle Eastern conflict setting, which has received little attention recently and remains unresolved. It succinctly summarizes the evolution of the nuclear dispute and argues that it could escalate in the wake of these very developments and further exacerbate the security situation in the Middle East.
