Die Zeitenwende und die Renaissance der Verteidigung

With the “Zeitenwende”, defense is experiencing a renaissance in Germany. It is a return to the defense mandate of the “Grundgesetz”. This expression of state self-assertion was the constitutional basis for the rearmament of the Federal Republic. The author argues that this perspective is important in order to fulfill the defense mandate in a contemporary way with regard to current challenges.
