Of particular interest are the karstic cavities, formed by carbonate dissolution, that host fluorite mineralization, supporting large-scale industrial extraction and yields prized specimens for collectors. Geochemical analyses show low concentrations of trace elements like uranium (U) and thorium (Th). Fluorite specimens exhibit remarkable colors from white to purple varieties, with the purple attributed to natural radioactive decay. The euhedral fluorite crystals with vibrant colors, along with associated lamellar barite, calcite, and sparkling quartz with iron oxide coats, make them desirable for collectors. Due to the abundance and high quality of fluorite production, the economic impact on the region is substantial, providing employment opportunities and contributing to local economic development.
