Patientenpfade in der Onkologie
摘要
Patient pathways in oncology are usually characterized by complex interdisciplinary, interprofessional, and intersectoral care, but they vary considerably depending on the type and severity of the cancer and comorbidities as well as according to patient wishes. The challenges, burdens, and needs of those affected by cancer also vary accordingly. Due to the high proportion of potentially avoidable cancers, analyses of patient pathways should focus more on prevention. The increase in digital information and support services and the introduction of electronic patient records can promote orientation and a smooth patient pathway. Active use of digital services requires digital literacy. Like health literacy, this is unevenly distributed across society, so measures to strengthen these skills, especially for vulnerable patient groups, must be given greater focus.
