Krebsfrüherkennung in Deutschland

  • Ursula Will

摘要

Early cancer detection in Germany has been a statutory provision since the 1970s and includes programs for the early detection of breast, cervical, skin, colon and prostate cancer. Despite the wide availability of these programs, participation rates remain insufficient. Personalized invitations and awareness campaigns are used to increase uptake. New approaches such as risk-adapted screening, artificial intelligence, and multi-cancer detection tests offer potential to improve efficiency and accuracy. Initiatives in the EU such as the European Beating Cancer Plan support these efforts and promote access to quality-assured screening programs.
