Rolle von Magnetresonanztomographie und künstlicher Intelligenz in zukünftigen Screeningprogrammen
摘要
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) offers many advantages for screening programs, especially in oncology but is currently only used to a limited extent.
Aim of the workTo investigate the benefits and limitations of MRI in screening programs and the potentials and challenges in the integration of artificial intelligence (AI).
Material and methodsAnalysis of current applications of MRI in screening programs. Investigation of the potential applications and challenges of implementing AI in MRI technology.
Results and discussionThe use of MRI shows high sensitivity but is limited by overdiagnostics, high costs and technical complexity. The integration of AI can rationalize the use of MRI. Challenges include the integration and the need for large data sets. The combination of MRI and AI holds great potential but requires acceptance and comprehensive training of medical personnel.
