Radiotherapie bei viszeraler Metastasierung

  • Peter Niehoff

摘要

Treatment of visceral metastases represents a challenge in oncology. Stereotactic radiotherapy (SBRT) has established itself as a highly precise technique that makes it possible to apply high radiation doses to small tumor volumes in a targeted manner. Modern systemic therapies, including targeted therapies and immunotherapies, have expanded the treatment options for visceral metastases. These systemic approaches are complementary to SBRT. Recent studies support the efficacy and safety of SBRT in the treatment of visceral metastases and oligometastases. Studies show that patients who receive SBRT in combination with systemic therapy have a significantly longer survival time. In addition, SBRT leads to improved local control of metastases and improved quality of life for patients.
