Interventionelle Therapieoptionen bei oligometastasierten Tumoren
摘要
Interventional radiology offers a broad spectrum of minimally invasive treatment options for oncological therapy of primary and secondary tumors in various regions of the body. The focus is generally on tumor spread and tumor treatment in the liver due to the prognosis-determining character of tumor spread in the liver. The spectrum ranges from potentially curatively intended local ablation (e.g., thermal ablation or radioablation) of smaller and fewer liver lesions to palliative locoregional therapy (e.g., radioembolization). In general, the various treatment options are characterized by high efficacy and low morbidity. This is an important distinguishing feature compared to surgical therapies and plays an important role in the decision for or against an additive tumor-directed invasive measure, especially in cases of unclear tumor dynamics or in a supposedly oligometastatic situation. In the following, diagnostic considerations in the oligometastatic situation and the respective forms of local therapy are presented, with a focus on the treatment of liver metastases from colorectal cancer.
