摘要

Our research group investigates which and how many proteins a biological cell produces under specific conditions, and which proteins interact with one another. Key mechanisms for adapting a cell’s behavior to specific conditions involve modifications of its DNA via epigenetic marks. Here, two examples are introduced in which we used bioinformatics methods to investigate the process of epigenetic DNA methylation and the influence of histone marks on splicing processes.
