Zilien als zelluläre Antennen
摘要
Primary cilia are cellular antennae present on most human cells. Defects in primary cilia signaling or structure cause ciliopathies affecting nearly all organs. Cilia detect stimuli via surface receptors and convert them mainly through cAMP-dependent signaling into cellular responses, mainly through cAMP-dependent signaling. Opto- and chemogenetics, together with genetically endcoded biosensors, enable precise modulation and analysis of ciliary cAMP pathways, opening new therapeutic strategies.
