Zelltodregulation und Immunmodulation durch Wurzelpilze fördert Symbiose
摘要
Symbiotic interactions between plants and fungi depend on tightly regulated molecular mechanisms that enable fungal colonization while modulating host immunity and metabolism. In our current study, we show how the beneficial root endophyte Serendipita indica employs specific enzymatic activities to regulate host cell death – an essential process for the establishment of a functional symbiosis.
