Bestimmung der Transfektionseffizienz mit dem Mikroplattenreader

Transfection efficiency is e.g. measured to study gene expression, for gene silencing or to produce proteins in large scale. In addition to classic microscopic analysis, detection with microplate readers is a promising alternative method that can also save costs and time. This article describes a proof-of-principle experiment designed to confirm the suitability of microplate readers for high-quality evaluation of transfection efficiency experiments.
