Three-dimensional cultures are a big step towards a more accurate mimicry of the in vivo environment. Given the limited availability of non-invasive analysis methods, especially beyond 2D cultures, we have developed a platform for multimodal bioelectronic monitoring in combination with our microcavity array technology for label-free real-time analysis of 3D cultures. This allows a wide range of cell-specific processes and drug responses to be studied with enhanced spatial resolution and in an automated setting.
