Vesikel-gebundene und frei zirkulierende miRNAs in Alterungsprozessen
摘要
Altered intercellular communication is one of the molecular hallmarks of aging. Microvesicles carrying different kinds of molecules, like proteins and RNAs are important agents of short- and long-range communication in the body. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are especially interesting targets to study in this context, as these molecules can regulate multiple targets in the recipient cells via complementary base-pair binding and thereby regulate a complex process such as aging.
