Die Rolle von mikro-RNAs während der B-Zell-Entwicklung

  • Jürgen Wittmann

摘要

B cell development in vertebrates is a complex process, involving numerous differentiation stages at many anatomical locations. Long-known regulators of B cell gene expression include transcription factor networks, cytokines, and cell surface receptors. In recent decades, small non-coding microRNAs (miRNAs) have been shown to exert an additional layer of control over gene expression and have been demonstrated to act as critical gatekeepers at various checkpoints during the tightly regulated B cell development.
