Impact of Endovenous Radiofrequency Ablation Combined with Foam Sclerotherapy on Hemorrheological Profiles and Inflammatory Responses in Patients with Great Saphenous Varicose Veins
摘要
To analyze the effect of Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) combined with foam sclerosing injection on hemorrheology and inflammatory factors in patients with great saphenous varicose veins and calf ulcers. A total of 102 patients each with great saphenous varicose veins and calf ulcers who underwent high ligation and stripping (Control Group, CG) and RFA combined with intravenous foam sclerosing injection treatment (Observation Group, OG) in the hospital from August 2024 to May 2025 were retrospectively collected as subjects. The prognosis, perioperative indicators, hemorrheology, inflammatory factors, and complications were observed. This study included 204 cases, and the follow-up period lasted 3–10 months. The total effective rate and lower limb ulcer healing rate of the OG were significantly higher than those of the CG, and the average healing time was significantly lower than that of the CG (P < 0.05). The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) 3 days after surgery, VAS 7 days after surgery, and hospitalization time in the OG were all below those in the CG (P < 0.05). Three months after surgery, the plasma viscosity, FIB, and low shear whole blood viscosity of the OG were below those of the CG (P < 0.05). The interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-α, matrix metalloproteinase-13, C-reactive protein, procalcitonin, and white blood cell counts in the OG were below those in the CG (P < 0.05). The incidence of transient cutaneous hypoesthesia and the total incidence of complications in the OG were below those in the CG (P < 0.05). Great saphenous vein RFA combined with foam sclerosing injection has a significant effect in great saphenous varicose veins complicated with calf ulcers. It can accelerate ulcer healing, improve hemorrheology and inflammatory response, and is safe.
