摘要

Pacinian corpuscles are specialized mechanoreceptors responsible for sensing deep pressure and vibration. They are typically found in glabrous skin and certain visceral sites. Their occurrence within lymph nodes is exceedingly uncommon. We report the case of a 57-year-old man with well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of the penis who underwent bilateral inguinal lymphadenectomy. Histologic examination of one lymph node revealed a well-formed, lamellated Pacinian corpuscle within the nodal parenchyma, an exceptional incidental finding representing one of very few documented cases worldwide. Immunohistochemistry performed on available tissue highlighted the neuroectodermal nature of the corpuscle. Although of uncertain biological significance, recognition of Pacinian corpuscles within lymph nodes is important to prevent diagnostic confusion with pathologic inclusions or tumor deposits in oncologic specimens.
