Urethral Plasmacytoma Masquerading as Urethral Stricture: a Rare Case and Review of Literature
摘要
Extramedullary Plasmacytoma (EMP) predominantly occurs in the head and neck, followed by the gastrointestinal tract and skin. The occurrence of urethral EMP is a rarity, with only nine documented cases emerging in the literature to date. Here, we unveil the complexities encountered in managing a case of urethral EMP, which presented as a urethral stricture in a male patient. This case report culminates in the successful management through surgical excision and radiotherapy.
