Zenker’s diverticulum, a rare condition with an incidence of 2 per 100,000 people, commonly affects elderly individuals and presents with symptoms such as dysphagia, regurgitation, and weight loss. Surgical intervention remains the treatment of choice for symptomatic cases. This technical note describes the use of a transoral endoscopic approach for the excision of Zenker’s diverticulum in a 71-year-old male patient. This case report highlights multidisciplinary collaboration for surgical innovations and the utility of advanced surgical tools like the Bipolar tissue sealer and Coblation in achieving safe and efficient outcomes in treating Zenker's diverticulum.
