摘要

This study explored trends in minimally invasive surgery learning curve research through bibliometric analysis of 1981 articles (2004–2023) from the Web of Science Core Collection. Publications showed exponential growth (R2 = 0.938), led by the United States (32.36%). The University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Brian KP Goh, and Surgical Endoscopy and Other Interventional Techniques emerged as the leading institution, author, and journal, respectively. Research hotspots included specific surgical procedures and training tools like simulation and virtual reality, highlighting the field’s rapid development and future research directions.
