<p>Extensive botanical expeditions and examination of herbarium specimens have revealed two new species of <i>Begonia</i> section <i>Petermannia</i> from the Philippine archipelago, <Emphasis Type="BoldItalic">B. boholensis</Emphasis> and <Emphasis Type="BoldItalic">B. naiveorum</Emphasis>, which are herein described and illustrated. Comprehensive taxonomic accounts are provided below, including detailed morphological descriptions, geographical distribution, habitat, phenology, and a discussion of their taxonomic affinities. Additionally, a distribution map is provided, along with color photographs of each species and preliminary extinction-risk assessments following the IUCN Red List criteria.</p>
