Clematis purpurata (Ranunculaceae), a Striking New Species From the Western Ghats of India
摘要
Clematis purpurata is described as a new species from southern part of the Western Ghats mountain range of India. It is related to Clematis udayanii, an endemic species reported from Attappady forests of South India. The affinities of the new species are discussed, and a key is provided for all the species of Clematis known from South India.
