<p>We describe two new species of Tillandsioideae from the Department of Boyacá, Colombia. The first species, <Emphasis Type="BoldItalic">Racinaea viridis</Emphasis>, is distinguished by its green, twice-branched inflorescence bearing upward-facing secund flowers. Although this species is restricted to a single, heavily deforested locality, the limited number of collections prevents a reliable assessment of its extinction risk. The second species, <Emphasis Type="BoldItalic">Tillandsia altochicamochae</Emphasis>, is a large, monocarpic plant with a red, once-branched inflorescence that bears relatively long racemes, downward-facing secund flowers, and purple flowers that have included stamens and stigma. This species is found in four high-altitude locations within the “Alto Chicamocha” region, where it faces significant anthropogenic pressures, leading us to propose its extinction risk as Endangered. We provide detailed descriptions of both species, along with insights into their distribution, conservation status, and taxonomic relationships.</p>

We describe two new species of Tillandsioideae from the Department of Boyacá, Colombia.
