<p>The family Myristicaceae has a pantropical distribution with centers of&#xa0;diversity in Africa, Asia, and the Neotropics. In the Americas, there are six genera and 110 species, of which over 70 are known from Amazonia and 59 from Amazonian Brazil, where Myristicaceae species are popularly known mainly as “<i>ucuúba</i>”. Among Brazil’s Amazonian states, Acre lies completely within this domain and is the only one to have a published floristic catalogue. This catalogue lists 28 species of Myristicaceae, but a recent survey of online platforms suggested there are additional species. Due to the lack of recent studies of this family in Brazil, the objective of this work was to analyze and revise the occurrences of the Myristicaceae species in Acre. Based on the results of this analysis, keys, descriptions, comments, and illustrations are provided for 34 species and five genera: <i>Virola</i> (17 spp.), <i>Iryanthera</i> (12), <i>Compsoneura</i> (2), <i>Otoba</i> (2), and <i>Osteophloeum</i> (1), including 9 new records for the state. Additionally, specimens were mapped and the current patterns indicate that 16 species are broadly distributed, whereas 18 other species are restricted to one of the two watersheds in the state (16 in the Juruá Basin and two in the Purus Basin).</p>
