Doryopteris (Pteridaceae) of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, Brazil, including the recognition of three “new” hybrids and six lectotypifications

We present the taxonomic treatment of Doryopteris from the states of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, Brazil, including some hybrids recognized for the first time in the literature. Fourteen species occur in the study area, plus three putative hybrids. Doryopteris × kollmannii, hybr. nov., is newly described; Doryopteris × angularis and Doryopteris × branneri were originally described as species, but have been lately considered as synonyms of D. rediviva and D. varians, respectively. Lectotypifications are proposed for D. raddiana var. patula, Litobrochia raddiana, Pteris collina, P. concolor, P. sagittifolia, and P. varians. We provide descriptions, illustrations, and taxonomic comments for all taxa.
