A new species of Evolvulus (Cresseae-Convolvulaceae) from the Brazilian savanna

During taxonomic studies of Evolvulus in the Brazilian northeast, a new species of this genus was discovered in the Brazilian savanna. It is characterized by having prostrate stems, leaf blades that are concolorous and falcate, lanceolate, or narrowly ovate, with leaf bases that are cuneate or rarely rounded.
