<p>The genus <i>Trachymene</i> Rudge (Araliaceae) is revised for Queensland, Australia using a morphological study of herbarium specimens. 22 species are accepted, including 5 new species, viz. <i>T. amabilis</i> A.R.Bean, <i>T. densa</i> A.R.Bean, <i>T. hirtipes</i> A.R.Bean, <i>T. lithophila</i> A.R.Bean and <i>T. neglecta</i> A.R.Bean. Descriptions and distribution maps are provided for all species, the new species are illustrated, and a dichotomous key to the Queensland species is provided. A lectotype is chosen for <i>Didiscus glandulosus</i> F.Muell.</p>
